American Tobacco (Bike) Trail

From Sanford,

Take U.S. 1 North to Exit 89 for New Hill/Jordan Lake.
Go left (north) on New Hill-Holleman Road to the intersection of Old U.S. 1.
Go straight onto New Hill-Olive Chapel Road for approximately three miles, crossing the New Hope Valley railroad tracks.
About 8/10-mile beyond the tracks, turn right into the gravel drive that leads to the parking area. See the blue Wake County Parks sign. If you cross the Beaver Creek bridge, you've gone too far.

Directions From Sanford

Take US-421 North toward Siler City.
Go 1.5 miles past the McNeill Drive light, turn left onto Forrestwood Park Rd.
In 0.4 miles turn left onto Valley Rd.
In 0.2 miles turn right onto the dirt driveway into the woods. The stop sign at the end of Valley Rd. should still be in sight as you turn. If Valley Rd. starts curving at all, you've gone too far.
Go down the big hill and up the other side. It's the only house back there, but you can't see it from Valley Rd.

Directions From Sanford

Take US-421 North from Sanford.
Cross NC-902 and continue north on US-421 for 4.1 miles
Turn left/west onto Foust Rd.
In 1.0 miles Foust becomes Mt. Vernon Springs Rd when you cross the rail road.
In 3.1 miles Mt. Vernon Springs Rd becomes Joe Brown Rd when you cross Siler City Glendon Road.
After 0.8 miles on Joe Brown Rd. turn left onto Wildlife Rd.
Wildlife Rd takes a hard right; the Wildlife Club entrance will soon be on your left.

Directions From Sanford

From US-15/501 North, take Deep River Rd to the right/east for 1.3 miles
Turn left onto Club Lane as indicated by the Wildlife Club sign on the right side of Deep River Rd. (It looks like a driveway; that's okay.)
Keep right at the fork. Enter the Wildlife Club through the gate.

From Sanford

Take NC-87 South out of town to NC-27.
Take NC-27 towards Lillington.
After you pass Western Harnett High School on the right, continue about 2 miles.
Turn left onto Leaflet Church Road (I think there is a sign at this point).
Follow Leaflet Church Road about 2 miles — the museum should be on the right.

From Sanford

Take US-421 South out of Sanford toward Lillington (go left at the fork with NC-87).
Turn right on McArthur (at Seminole sign).
When McArthur hits a T-intersection, turn left on MacDougald.
After about 200 yards, take a right on Leaflet Church Road.
Go about a mile down Leaflet Church Road until you see the Museum and sign on your left.
